Coaching is a proven support system for achieving personal and professional goals.
Working with a coach enables you to: • take a step back within a safe and supportive environment • review where you are currently • clarify what you want • expand and evaluate the range of options available to you • focus on strengths and resources to overcome obstacles • create practical plans to get you where you want to go.
What can I expect in the first session?
In the first session we will establish your goal(s), and gain some background information. The number of sessions required varies depending on individual circumstances, but averages around 4-6 sessions. Often this is followed by 1 or 2 follow-up sessions to monitor and fine-tune progress.
How long are the session times?
The sessions last 60 minutes. The meetings are held in a private office, or could be held at your office or in a meeting room within your organisation. There is also the option of video or phone counselling.
How confidential are the coaching sessions?
All sessions are confidential. The only exception is if there is concern for your safety or the safety of another person, or if required by law.
What is your background as a Coach?
As a qualified coach and counsellor, I hold a Bachelor of Science majoring in Psychology, a Bachelor of Applied Social Sciences in Counselling, a Diploma in Professional Coaching, and a Certificate in Counselling and Social Work.
I work under Professional Supervision, and I am a Full Member of the Career Development Association of New Zealand (CDANZ), and Human Resources New Zealand (HRNZ). I operate under the CDANZ code of ethics and professional standards, however please feel free to discuss any concerns with me.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellations within 24 hours and non-attendance will be charged at the normal session rate.
What are your rates?
Workplace coaching – $150 per hour (includes resources, workbooks etc) Private clients – $120 per hour (includes resources, workbooks etc) Professional services – $60 per hour (research, preparation of reports etc)
